Senior Azure Virtual Desktop Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor in the areas of Azure, Modern Work, Identity, and Security.

• Conduct technical workshops, facilitate knowledge transfer sessions, and engage in customer enablement activities.

• Evaluate platform health, configuration, performance, resiliency, security posture, and operational readiness.

• Resolve complex issues utilizing telemetry, diagnostics, and log analysis.

• Create remediation and optimization recommendations grounded in technical insights and business requirements.

• Assist with migrations, deployments, modernization efforts, adoption programs, and lifecycle management tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in infrastructure, end-user computing, cloud platforms, or related Microsoft technologies.

• Proficient in English with the capability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.

• Background in consulting or customer-facing technical positions.

• Demonstrated experience leading workshops, providing technical training, and offering customer guidance.

• Practical expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure Networking, Host Pools, Application Groups, Session Hosts, FSLogix, Microsoft Intune, Identity Management, Image Management, Security Administration, and PowerShell.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, documentation, and managing stakeholder relationships.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Azure platform services, governance, and automation.

• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft administration tools.

• Preferred: Understanding of networking, identity, and security concepts within enterprise settings.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting enterprise deployments, migrations, or modernization initiatives.
