Manager, Agent Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Build and manage the Agent Architecture team.

• Recruit Agent Architects, conduct weekly one-on-ones, perform performance evaluations and career discussions, and develop growth plans.

• Establish ramp-up expectations for new hires and mentor Associate and mid-level Agent Architects.

• Set team objectives and OKRs that align with the priorities of Professional Services.

• Oversee capacity and workload across multiple projects while highlighting resource trade-offs.

• Represent Agent Architecture to Sales, Product, Engineering, customers, and partners.

• Guide customers through the implementation of AI Agents, from providing strategic advice and scoping to complete delivery.

• Act as an escalation point when agent performance issues arise.

• Define and uphold AI agent quality standards through thorough reviews.

• Document best practices and convert recurring field challenges into structured product feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading teams as a formal manager, team lead, or through ongoing mentorship with responsibility for group development and output.

• Over 3 years of experience in conversation design and AI agent development.

• Demonstrated history of creating scalable solution architecture and conversational experiences based on actual user needs.

• Advanced skills in prompt engineering.

• Proficient in integrating REST APIs.

• Experience working with JavaScript.

• Strong skills in project and stakeholder management.

• Extensive experience collaborating with enterprise customers, including in escalated or high-pressure situations.

• Sound judgment regarding capacity and prioritization.

• Eligibility to work in the USA; Parloa is an E-Verify employer in the USA.
