Senior Azure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components utilizing approved architectural patterns.

• Automate processes related to provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks that are repetitive.

• Implement controls for security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability.

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Maintain documentation such as runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change records.

• Collaborate effectively with engineering and operations teams.

• Contribute to sustainable and maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years in a related professional capacity.

• Hands-on experience with Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.

• Professional background in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations pertinent to the role.

• Practical knowledge of specific cloud, operating-system, container, or automation technologies.

• Familiarity with fundamentals of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability.

• Experience in scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code.

• Capability to methodically troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues.

• Excellent documentation and cross-team collaboration abilities.

• Additional hands-on expertise with Azure is preferred.

• Experience in mentoring colleagues, reviewing technical work, and guiding delivery decisions is preferred.

• Knowledge of secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements is preferred.

• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training are preferred.
