Senior AWS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components utilizing approved architectural patterns.

• Automate consistent provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.

• Implement security measures, identity management, networking solutions, backup systems, monitoring tools, and availability controls.

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and documentation of changes.

• Collaborate effectively across engineering and operations teams.

• Contribute to the delivery lifecycle by ensuring reliable and maintainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in a relevant professional role.

• Practical expertise with AWS IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, managed services, CloudWatch, automation, and cloud security.

• Professional background in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations.

• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, operating systems, container technologies, or automation tools.

• A solid understanding of networking, identity management, security protocols, monitoring, and availability fundamentals.

• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code methodologies.

• Capability to troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues in a systematic manner.

• Strong skills in documentation and collaboration across teams.

• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or H-1B transfer candidates; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be supported.
