Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based cloud environments for clients and partners.

• Lead projects focused on cloud migration and modernization.

• Develop AWS infrastructure solutions that align with customer specifications.

• Construct and configure cloud environments following AWS best practices.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and AWS Sales Engineers to provide tailored customer solutions.

• Assist customers during onboarding, implementation, deployment, and optimization phases.

• Diagnose technical issues and suggest enhancements for cloud environments.

• Engage in customer meetings, acting as a reliable technical advisor throughout project execution.

• Document system architectures, configurations, implementation processes, and operational practices.

• Work collaboratively across engineering, architecture, sales, and delivery teams to drive customer success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience with AWS cloud technologies.

• Practical experience in deploying, configuring, and supporting AWS solutions.

• Proven track record of delivering cloud projects in client environments.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS infrastructure, services, networking, and security principles.

• Ability to engage directly with clients and convey technical concepts clearly.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical delivery.

• Experience working autonomously while managing multiple client engagements.

• Preferred AWS certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, with advanced AWS experience.

• Background in an AWS consulting partner, cloud services provider, MSP, systems integrator, or a similar organization is preferred.

• Knowledge of cloud governance, security, and operational best practices.

• Must successfully pass a drug test and a pre-employment (post-offer) background check.
