This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.
• Provide support for software releases through automation and testing.
• Concentrate on the automation testing platform.
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot ongoing processes.
• Update existing automation tests from the backlog.
• Collaborate with the network team.
• Write and deploy automated tests in two major internal testing environments.
• Work across departments to gain a clear understanding of project scopes.
• Report on the progress of testing activities.
• Develop innovative test automation methodologies.
• Mentor and guide team members.
• Utilize a custom Python-Selenium automation framework for comprehensive testing.
• Create and implement test scripts for thorough end-to-end product evaluation.
• Review test outcomes using framework logs, product logs, and traffic dumps to pinpoint issues.
• Maintain, support, and enhance the existing automation framework.
• Develop tools aimed at improving automation processes.
• Identify and rectify weaknesses in automated processes.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and TechOps teams to ensure alignment of testing objectives with company priorities.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Preference for experience in SaaS or web application environments.
• Knowledge of programming concepts and scripting languages, including Python and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Understanding of version control, bug-tracking, and test management systems.
• Experience in front-end testing of web applications.
• Competence in back-end testing, API testing, or microservices testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Basic log analysis capabilities.
• Practical experience with databases like MySQL or similar.
• Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems.
• Experience with high-volume transactional systems is advantageous.
• Good understanding of Playwright is a plus.
