This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.
• Deliver automation and testing assistance for software releases.
• Examine logs and troubleshoot ongoing processes.
• Refresh existing automation tests from the backlog.
• Collaborate with the network team.
• Design and deploy automated tests in two internal testing environments.
• Work with various departments to comprehend project requirements.
• Provide updates on testing progress.
• Innovate new methodologies for test automation.
• Guide and mentor team members.
• Utilize a custom Python-Selenium automation framework for thorough testing.
• Develop and execute test scripts for comprehensive end-to-end product evaluations.
• Analyze executed test outcomes using framework logs, product logs, and traffic dumps to pinpoint issues.
• Sustain, support, and enhance the existing automation framework.
• Create tools to optimize automation processes and testing workflows.
• Recognize and rectify weaknesses in automated processes.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and TechOps teams to ensure Test Automation objectives align with company priorities and strategies.
• Over 6 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Preferably experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) or web applications.
• Familiarity with programming concepts and scripting languages like Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of version control, bug-tracking, and test management systems.
• Experience in front-end testing for web applications.
• Experience in back-end testing, API testing, or microservices testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Basic log analysis skills.
• Practical experience with databases like MySQL.
• Fundamental knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
• Experience with high-volume transactional systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Playwright is a plus.
