This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.
• Deliver automation and testing support for software releases, with a primary emphasis on the automation testing platform.
• Evaluate logs and troubleshoot ongoing processes.
• Refresh existing automation tests from the backlog.
• Collaborate with the network team.
• Design and implement automated tests in two significant internal test environments.
• Work across departments to comprehend project scopes.
• Provide updates on testing progress.
• Innovate new test automation methodologies.
• Guide and mentor team members.
• Utilize a custom automation framework based on Python-Selenium for comprehensive testing.
• Develop and execute new test scripts for thorough end-to-end product testing.
• Analyze executed test results using test framework logs, product logs, and traffic dumps to pinpoint issues.
• Sustain, support, and enhance the current automation framework.
• Create tools to improve automation processes and testing workflows.
• Identify and rectify weaknesses in existing automated processes.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and TechOps teams to ensure Test Automation objectives align with company priorities and strategies.
• Over 6 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Preferably experienced in SaaS or web applications.
• Proficient with programming concepts and scripting languages, including Python and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Understanding of version control, bug-tracking, and test management systems.
• Experience in front-end testing of web applications.
• Background in back-end testing, API testing, or microservices testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Basic knowledge of log analysis.
• Hands-on experience with databases like MySQL or similar.
• Fundamental understanding of UNIX/Linux.
• Experience with high-volume transactional systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Playwright is a plus.
