
Senior Attorney, Litigation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of a global litigation strategy that aligns with business goals and corporate values
• Oversee consumer protection class actions, intellectual property disputes, commercial litigation, employment issues, government investigations, and insured claims
• Engage and manage external counsel, experts, and service providers
• Conduct investigations, interviews with witnesses, and preliminary case evaluations
• Direct discovery processes, including e-discovery, document examination, witness preparation, and depositions
• Draft and assess pleadings, briefs, legal memoranda, and associated correspondence
• Manage litigation budgets and expenditures related to outside counsel
• Provide practical and strategic legal counsel regarding litigation risks and regulatory issues
• Facilitate dispute resolution through negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court trials
• Stay informed on emerging legal trends and advise on proactive risk management strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams to address legal concerns and align with business objectives
• Handle third-party subpoenas, regulatory inquiries, and government investigations
• Mentor legal support personnel and assist in delivering legal training throughout the organization
• Prepare materials for discussions with senior leadership and the Board
• Minimum of 8 years of pertinent legal experience
• Ideally a blend of law firm and in-house experience with a multinational or publicly traded entity
• Experience in defending class actions and managing complex commercial litigation
• Proven trial experience is preferred
• Background in handling extensive electronic discovery, outside counsel, litigation budgets, and cross-departmental projects
• Experience in representing companies in the food, consumer packaged goods, or similarly regulated sectors is preferred
• Ability to offer practical, strategic legal guidance in complex litigation and changing regulatory landscapes
• Excellent legal writing, contract drafting, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Capability to devise innovative solutions to intricate legal and business challenges
• Willingness to travel as required
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
