This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a dynamic caseload involving state and federal plaintiff's-side wage-and-hour, class, and representative action litigation against regional, national, and Fortune 500 corporations.

• Provide leadership and direction to associate attorneys.

• Formulate case strategy.

• Conduct and respond to intricate discovery processes.

• Take and defend depositions.

• Prepare and argue dispositive motions and class certification motions.

• Lead negotiations for settlements.

• Make court appearances for hearings and trials.

• Mentor junior attorneys on best practices in litigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be either (a) licensed to practice law in Oregon or (b) currently licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and in the process of pending admission to the Oregon Bar.

• The preferred candidate will possess a license to practice law in Oregon and have at least 8+ years of experience in civil litigation, encompassing discovery in civil litigation, oral advocacy, court appearances, motion practice, and the ability to take and defend depositions.

• Previous experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage-and-hour cases is advantageous.

• Candidates must be willing to travel occasionally.

• Must hold a valid license to practice law in the state of Oregon.
