Senior Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a dynamic caseload of plaintiff's-side wage-and-hour, class, and representative action litigation on both state and federal levels.

• Engage in litigation against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies.

• Provide leadership and support to associate attorneys.

• Formulate case strategies.

• Conduct and respond to intricate discovery processes.

• Take and defend depositions.

• Draft and present motions for summary judgment and class certification.

• Lead negotiations for settlements.

• Appear in court for hearings and trials.

• Mentor junior attorneys on best practices in litigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a license to practice law in New Jersey, or be licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction with pending admission to New Jersey.

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil litigation.

• Proficient in discovery within the civil litigation framework.

• Strong oral advocacy skills and experience in court appearances.

• Familiarity with motion practice.

• Experience in taking and defending depositions.

• Previous involvement in class actions, complex litigation, and wage and hour litigation is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
