Senior Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a dynamic caseload involving state and federal plaintiff's-side wage-and-hour, class, and representative action litigation.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to associate attorneys.

• Formulate and develop case strategies.

• Conduct and respond to intricate discovery processes.

• Take and defend depositions effectively.

• Draft and present dispositive motions and class certification motions.

• Lead negotiations for settlements.

• Represent the firm in court for hearings and trials.

• Mentor junior attorneys on best practices in litigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid license to practice law in Minnesota, or be licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and in the process of obtaining admission to Minnesota.

• At least 8+ years of experience in civil litigation.

• Proficient in managing discovery within the civil litigation framework.

• Strong oral advocacy skills and experience in court appearances.

• Familiarity with motion practice.

• Experience in taking and defending depositions.

• Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage-and-hour litigation is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
