Senior Associate, Operations - Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute payments and fund transfers in both USD and local currency within the IRU framework, adhering to the Bank's internal policies, SOPs, OPMs, ADMs, and relevant ICC guidelines.

• Oversee all aspects of Trade Finance across various business sectors.

• Manage the recovery of charges in accordance with existing guidelines.

• Process incoming and outgoing MT103 and MT202 payment messages.

• Collaborate with CHIPS and FED payments and conduct SWIFT investigations.

• Authorize and input transactions into the processing system.

• Prepare and authorize the necessary SWIFT messages.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Team Head.

• Communicate errors and knowledge gaps with the line manager/team to resolve customer service concerns.

• Mitigate revenue leakage.

• Ensure that no outstanding reconciliation entries remain unresolved in Nostro or internal accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Relevant professional experience in Trade Operations.

• Proven experience in managing cross-border payments, including expert-level knowledge of the MT 100 series, MT 200 series, and MT 700 series.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word and Excel).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

• Ability to perform well under pressure.
