Senior Associate – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Process and validate MT 100, MT 200, and MT 700 series messages pertaining to cross-border payments.

• Ensure that payment processing is both timely and accurate, complying with internal and external regulations.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns related to payments.

• Monitor and assess payment transactions to identify discrepancies or potential risks.

• Collaborate with the team to refine payment processes and improve overall operational efficiency.

• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in payment operations and propose improvements when necessary.

• Uphold a high standard of data integrity and confidentiality, ensuring adherence to data protection regulations.

• Work closely with the operations team to address any payment-related issues or escalations.

• Prepare and maintain precise payment-related reports and documentation as required.

• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members, sharing expertise and knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in payment operations, particularly focusing on cross-border payments.

• Expert-level understanding of MT 100, MT 200, and MT 700 series messages and their applications.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively interacting with clients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel, for report creation and data analysis.

• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify and resolve payment-related challenges.

• Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.

• Excellent organizational skills and a proactive work approach, taking initiative as necessary.

• Willingness to work night shifts to support global payment operations.
