Senior Associate, Investor Relations – Capital Formation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Raise capital for InvestX funds and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies targeting family offices, high-net-worth investors, registered investment advisors, and institutional investors

• Build and sustain a strong pipeline of potential investors

• Identify new limited partner relationships through an established network and proactive business development efforts

• Lead investor meetings, presentations, and due diligence discussions

• Guide investors throughout the subscription and closing processes

• Act as a trusted advisor during the entire investor lifecycle

• Cultivate long-term relationships that encourage repeat investments

• Present investment opportunities, portfolio updates, and market insights

• Address investor inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to provide timely information

• Represent InvestX at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities

• Maintain accurate records of CRM activity and fundraising forecasts

• Report on pipeline activities, commitments, and fundraising progress

• Provide market intelligence and investor feedback to senior leadership

• Collaborate with Investment, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to support fundraising initiatives and investor onboarding


⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in raising capital for private equity, venture capital, private credit, hedge funds, real assets, or alternative investments

• Proven success in raising capital from family offices, registered investment advisors, high-net-worth investors, or institutional allocators

• Preferred existing relationships with family offices and private wealth channels

• Strong understanding of private markets, fund structures, secondary investments, and fundraising processes

• Exceptional skills in presentation, communication, and relationship management

• Highly entrepreneurial with the capability to work independently

• Strong commercial instincts and a disciplined approach to managing pipelines

• FINRA Series 7 and 63 with a clean U4 record

• Series 66 is preferred

• Must be eligible to travel between the US and Canada for meetings; willingness to travel as necessary

• Background check including Criminal Record, Credit, and other verifications as required for this position
