This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on clinical training and continuous education to surgeons and operating room personnel regarding the proper use of Alcon's portfolio of cataract and refractive surgical devices.

• Provide on-site and remote clinical application assistance, address customer inquiries, resolve clinical and technical challenges, and support equipment installations and software updates alongside Field Service Engineers and Sales Representatives.

• Work collaboratively with customers and internal teams to ensure the successful integration of new technologies while maintaining customer engagement and satisfaction through proactive support and follow-up.

• Assist in medical congresses, workshops, demonstrations, wet labs, and educational events.

• Collect and share clinical insights that contribute to ongoing product and service enhancements.

• Document site visits, report adverse events and device deficiencies, uphold certifications, and comply with GxP requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, company policies, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Orthoptics or Optometry.

• At least 2 years of experience in clinical support, medical devices, healthcare, surgical settings, or a similar customer-facing technical position.

• Proven experience in providing training, education, or clinical support to healthcare professionals.

• Strong technical skills with the capability to learn and articulate complex surgical technologies and medical devices.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities, enabling effective engagement with surgeons, clinical staff, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Dedication to compliance, quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement.

• Fluency in the local language; proficiency in English is preferred.
