Senior Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the initial process of identifying and developing candidates.

• Support Consultants, Principals, and Senior Partners in generating, managing, and executing search assignments.

• Engage in and/or lead search processes, collaborating with clients and search committees, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, references, negotiations, and closing assignments.

• Establish, manage, and cultivate relationships with clients and candidates.

• Participate in and/or lead calls and meetings with clients.

• Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.

• Design search engagement strategies and implement candidate identification and profiling through both primary and secondary sources.

• Create presentations to promote roles and client companies to potential candidates.

• Identify, contact, and evaluate candidates for position suitability.

• Guide candidates through interviews, presentations, and referencing when applicable.

• Conduct preliminary phone screenings and evaluate candidates’ skills against client requirements.

• Actively network to discover potential candidates.

• Collaborate closely with lead consultants, Research, and Data Management.

• Manage a complete search load of approximately 10 searches.

• Exhibit a solid understanding of the entire search process and the Senior Associate role.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the relevant industry practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Master’s degree is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in executive search, research, recruitment, or related industry experience.

• Extensive prior experience and skills in utilizing computer systems, databases, email, etc.

• Excellent assessment abilities.

• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening capabilities.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Capability to assess potential candidate eligibility through telephone screenings appropriately.

• A collaborative mindset.

• Robust work ethic, action/results orientation, customer focus, priority setting, process management, ethical standards, attentive listening, self-initiative, and assessment skills.
