Senior AQA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automated testing cases and frameworks.

• Conduct functional and manual testing activities as necessary.

• Analyze testing outcomes, investigate failures, and determine root causes.

• Evaluate and enhance test coverage to ensure thorough quality validation.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to guarantee product quality.

• Contribute to the advancement of automation strategies, frameworks, and testing standards.

• Define and advocate for QA best practices within the team.

• Mentor and support team members through sharing technical knowledge and fostering collaboration.

• Engage in test planning, estimation, and quality discussions throughout the development lifecycle.

• Ensure the delivery of dependable, high-quality solutions within the banking sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, primarily emphasizing test automation.

• Strong practical experience with Python, Pytest, Playwright, and Git.

• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and test suites.

• Comprehensive understanding of test planning, execution, and defect management processes.

• Ability to analyze testing scenarios, failures, root causes, and gaps in test coverage.

• Experience in conducting functional/manual testing as required.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and QA best practices.

• Knowledge of banking processes and financial systems.

• Experience with Bantotal or similar banking platforms.

• Proficiency in native-level Spanish and intermediate English.

• Experience in enhancing and scaling automation frameworks.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the integration of test automation.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with API testing and test automation tools.

• Experience in mentoring QA team members and promoting quality best practices.

• Exposure to performance or non-functional testing.
