Data & Reporting Engineer, Intermediate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable and dependable data pipelines to ingest, integrate, process, and distribute data across various platforms and systems, collaborating closely with the Engineering team.

• Enhance data flows and collection methods for cross-functional teams, ensuring high standards of data quality and accessibility.

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver data tools and infrastructure that support analytics and model development.

• Establish and uphold guidelines for data management, encompassing data processing, quality control, metadata management, and data security protocols.

• Formulate policies and procedures for data handling and sharing that comply with legal and regulatory standards.

• Work with various departments to evaluate data needs, utilization, and the implementation of optimal data management practices.

• Construct scalable data pipelines, enhance reporting infrastructure, and promote data quality, governance, and management throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering.

• A solid understanding of data architecture, database design, and data warehousing principles.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and additional programming languages pertinent to data engineering.

• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.

• Experience with cloud data services, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Knowledge of data management standards, data governance practices, and data quality assurance.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Proficient in English.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex data-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

• The ability to submit a resume in English.
