This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement AI agents for Wellness clients from start to finish.
• Transform client workflows into actual agent workflow designs.
• Conduct technical discussions with clients’ clinical, IT, and operations teams.
• Turn client requirements into prompts, tools, retrieval structures, and vector databases.
• Integrate with client data systems, such as CRMs.
• Create ingestion pipelines to facilitate client data integrations.
• Write the production stack, covering agent runtime, routing, orchestration, and evaluations.
• Assist in developing the machine learning aspect using Python, which includes training, embeddings, and model registry.
• Create declarative guardrails and integrations within workflows.
• Design and manage relational databases and caching layers for real-time agent operations and compliance audit trails.
• Codify configuration patterns for each client into reusable components to expedite onboarding.
• Collaborate with product, account management, and platform engineering teams to translate field insights into platform enhancements.
• Over 5 years of experience in a production engineering role delivering customer-facing software.
• Backgrounds in solutions engineering or consulting are acceptable if they involve writing and deploying production code, rather than just scoping.
• Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, including Javascript/Node, Typescript, Python, etc.
• Experience in building and maintaining real-time systems: WebSockets, streaming media, event-driven architectures, or high-throughput API services.
• Hands-on integration work with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot, or data warehouse/lake connectors such as Snowflake, Databricks, or S3.
• Experience in developing retrieval and ingestion paths that provide agents with reliable context, ensuring appropriate guardrails and caching.
• Familiarity with data engineering patterns: ETL/ELT pipelines, data quality assessments, and ingestion from diverse sources.
• Comfortable with cloud infrastructure, including AWS or GCP, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, and basic security measures.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to conduct technical working sessions with customers’ IT teams, translating findings into engineering decisions.
• Startup mindset: capable of building, delivering, and resolving issues as they arise.
• Nice to have: experience with voice or telephony infrastructure.
• Nice to have: experience in LLM orchestration and designing agentic systems, including prompt engineering, function calling, structured output, and guardrails.
• Nice to have: familiarity with workflow engines, rules engines, or state machine architectures.
