Senior Angular Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in an international nearshore project for clients within the financial industry.

• Design, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications utilizing Angular.

• Construct frontend interfaces and components using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.

• Develop scalable, reusable, responsive, and high-performance components.

• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.

• Convert functional and business requirements into technical solutions.

• Take part in application architecture and design discussions.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, backend developers, and various stakeholders.

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Participate in code review processes.

• Create and uphold automated tests.

• Assist with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Investigate and resolve issues in applications and production environments.

• Conduct debugging and root cause analysis.

• Enhance performance, usability, and maintainability.

• Ensure adherence to security, accessibility, and quality standards.

• Support the operation and stability of applications in production.

• Contribute to technology modernization and continuous improvement efforts.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, and tracking of delivery.

• Assist with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.

• Collaborate with distributed teams located in Brazil and the United States.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Share knowledge and best practices within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Advanced proficiency in English (C1/C2), capable of communicating in an international setting.

• Strong experience in developing enterprise web applications using Angular, preferably version 12 or later.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS.

• Experience in constructing reusable, scalable, and high-performance frontend components.

• Proven experience in integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.

• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving web application issues.

• Ability to identify and implement performance and usability enhancements.

• Knowledge of frontend development best practices and code organization.

• Experience in maintaining and enhancing applications in production settings.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Capability to collaborate with Product Owners, business teams, architects, and backend teams.

• Analytical mindset, independence, effective communication, and keen attention to delivery quality.

• Experience with Angular Material, RxJS, NgRx or other state management solutions, Bootstrap or PrimeNG, automated testing, digital accessibility, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, cloud technologies, frontend security, monitoring, observability, application modernization, the financial sector, regulated environments, and international teams is advantageous.

• Certifications related to Angular, cloud, Agile, DevOps, or software development are a plus.
