Senior Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Create and develop new functionalities for the Android application utilized by business owners throughout Europe.

• Design and implement solutions for managing cash flow across multiple accounts.

• Develop features for banking transactions and payment processing.

• Build capabilities for issuing, activating, and controlling both physical and virtual cards.

• Integrate AI-driven automation for accounting tasks.

• Construct polished, responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.

• Ensure code quality, performance, and stability through automated testing and comprehensive code reviews.

• Collaborate with Backend, QA, Design, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Lead technical decision-making within the domain and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices.

• Mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional Android development experience.

• Strong expertise in Kotlin; knowledge of Java is advantageous.

• Profound understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture.

• Familiarity with MVI, MVVM, and MVP presentation-layer architectures.

• Experience with RxJava and Kotlin Coroutines / Flow.

• Proficient with Dagger 2, Hilt, or Koin.

• Knowledgeable in Retrofit.

• Experience with Cicerone or Jetpack Navigation Component.

• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose.

• Practical experience with Firebase, including FCM, Analytics, and Crashlytics.

• Experience in implementing feature-module architecture in production environments.

• Proficient with Git / GitLab, including managing GitLab CI/CD.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Background in fintech or financial products is a plus.

• Knowledge of mobile security best practices is a plus.

• Experience with performance profiling and optimization is a plus.

• Familiarity with Android Profiler, Perfetto, Baseline Profiles, or similar tools is a plus.

• Published apps on Google Play are a plus.

• An active GitHub profile is a plus.

• Experience with AI agents, LLM tools, and AI-powered IDE tools is a plus.
