Android Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Develop engaging and dependable Android applications utilizing Kotlin and contemporary frameworks such as Jetpack Compose.

• Convert designs into fluid features while collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Integrate APIs, efficiently manage data, and enhance performance to ensure the application operates effectively at scale.

• Engage in code reviews, testing, and documentation to boost code quality and maintainability.

• Play a role in technical decisions that influence mobile architecture and future development endeavors.

• Remain updated with Android tools, trends, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in developing and deploying Android applications using Kotlin.

• Familiarity with Android architecture patterns, including MVC or MVVM.

• A readiness to learn Jetpack Compose and other modern UI frameworks.

• Basic knowledge of API integration and data persistence.

• A passion for writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to team quality standards.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• A strong desire to create intuitive and user-friendly mobile experiences.

• May be required to obtain a gaming license from the relevant state agency as a condition of employment.
