Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance data models that drive business intelligence and analytical solutions.

• Take ownership of the layered dbt data model to ensure dependable data usage across Power BI and other downstream applications.

• Create and manage data transformation workflows utilizing dbt and SQL.

• Expand data models to facilitate the pricing engine MVP, incorporating item categorization and price elasticity analysis.

• Align business KPIs across various regions to support a unified pricing approach.

• Construct and refine analytical data solutions using Databricks and Azure.

• Utilize Python for data processing, analysis, and automation tasks.

• Create and sustain Power BI data models for precise reporting and insightful business analytics.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, and usability of data across analytical models and downstream applications.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and regional groups to translate analytical needs into scalable data solutions.

• Contribute to enhancements in data architecture, modeling practices, and analytics engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar data-centric role.

• Advanced skills in SQL.

• Practical experience with dbt.

• Proven track record in designing and maintaining layered data models for analytics and business intelligence.

• Familiarity with Databricks and Azure data environments.

• Proficient in Python for tasks related to data processing, analysis, or automation.

• Experience with Power BI, especially in terms of data modeling and data preparation for reporting and analytics.

• Strong comprehension of data quality, data validation, and consistent metric definitions.

• Ability to convert business requirements into robust, reusable data models.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on detail and data accuracy.

• Superior communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to engage with stakeholders across various regions.

• Nice to have: experience in supporting pricing, revenue optimization, or commercial analytics initiatives.
