Senior Analytics Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery sessions and engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements.

• Convert business goals into precise, actionable analytical roadmaps.

• Define and establish calculation logic and governance for key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.

• Conduct assessments of data suitability and quality to ensure essential data underpins key metrics.

• Execute hands-on data exploration, feature analysis, and data profiling utilizing SQL and Python.

• Collaborate with Power BI developers to create intuitive wireframes, semantic models, and dashboards that align with business workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in data consulting, business intelligence, or analytical positions.

• Experience in the Life Insurance sector is strongly preferred.

• Advanced skills in querying, joining, aggregations, window functions, and performance profiling.

• Proficient in data manipulation and exploration libraries (such as pandas, numpy, etc.).

• Demonstrated experience in designing metric layouts and overseeing the development of Power BI dashboards.
