This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Construct strategic site rankings, market comparison screeners, total cost models, commute and drive-time analyses, labor market evaluations, and portfolio consolidation studies.
• Collaborate with advisors to clarify requests, define methodologies and data needs, develop and quality assure models, and deliver outputs ready for clients.
• Oversee multiple projects concurrently.
• Generate rapid location analytics, demonstrations, and market assessments for competitive proposals.
• Transform intricate analyses into clear visuals and recommendations using Tableau and PowerPoint.
• Present alongside advisors to client stakeholders, primarily via video conferencing.
• Create reusable Alteryx workflows, Tableau templates, and standard deliverables.
• Utilize AI tools to expedite research, data preparation, coding, quality assurance, and initial draft narratives.
• Ensure data quality and documentation across labor, demographic, geospatial, and cost data sources.
• Assist in the evaluation of new data partners.
• Mentor analysts and interns.
• Provide case studies and examples for internal marketing initiatives directed at advisors.
• Independently deliver core location and market analyses within 90 days.
• Develop reusable templates or workflows to reduce turnaround times.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for advisors.
• Contribute a minimum of two case studies within the first year.
• Proficient working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS, Alteryx, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
• Experience with labor market data, preferably Lightcast.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate principles, including occupancy costs and lease economics, market rents and vacancies, site selection, and real estate decision-making.
• Proven AI proficiency, including tangible examples of utilizing AI tools and the ability to validate outputs.
• Outstanding written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in developing executive-level presentations.
• Comfort in working directly with senior advisors and client executives.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting while ensuring high accuracy.
• Bachelor’s Degree in geography/GIS, economics, urban planning, real estate, finance, data analytics, or a related field.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in location strategy, site selection, labor analytics, market research, or analytics consulting; candidates with 3 to 4 years may be considered for the Senior Analyst level.
• Experience in commercial real estate or corporate occupier roles is strongly preferred.
• Preferred: experience in healthcare market or utilization analytics.
• Preferred: knowledge of SQL or Python for data preparation and automation.
• Preferred: experience with Placer.ai, Experian Mosaic, CoStar, or parcel data.
• Preferred: exposure to economic incentives, workforce planning, or industrial/distribution network analysis.
• Preferred: Esri technical certification or involvement with CoreNet Global.
• Preferred: experience in creating automated or AI-assisted analytics workflows.
• Occasional travel may be necessary for client meetings and team sessions.
