This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of market evaluation and sizing for North America, encompassing TAM, SAM, and SOM analyses.
• Establish and uphold market segmentation, buyer personas, and target account lists.
• Collaborate with the Global Product Line by supplying North American market intelligence, regulatory trends, and competitive insights.
• Assist in 3–5 year Long Term Strategy planning utilizing regional market insights.
• Formulate regional commercial strategies, including positioning, value propositions, go-to-market methodologies, and the sales playbook.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive solution architecture that includes hardware, software, licensing, integration, deployment, and total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate with Marketing on thought leadership initiatives and lead flow management.
• Present at customer events and perform product demonstrations.
• Manage prospecting and qualify new opportunities, transitioning them to Sales once a commercial approach is established.
• Support qualified opportunities through proposals by offering market, competitive, and solution architecture context.
• Participate in key customer engagements without taking ownership of sales execution or account management.
• Advocate for the solution internally across the Growth Team, Sales, and business lines.
• Educate Sales on positioning and solution architecture during launch and following significant updates.
• Capture and disseminate market insights and customer learnings.
• Drive the growth of the commercial pipeline, customer pilots, proof-of-concept placements, profitable solution expansion, and gross margin by segment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Power Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working with Utilities and/or Large Industrial clients on Automation & Control, Reliability, Telecom Infrastructure, or Power & Asset Management topics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial role, such as sales, account management, business development, or strategy.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business planning, market strategy, or commercial analysis.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to drive market opportunities and growth initiatives from start to finish.
• Ability to lead through influence across Marketing, Sales, Product, Commercial Operations, and Engineering teams.
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to drive execution while demonstrating clear ownership and discipline.
• Competence in synthesizing quantitative market data and qualitative customer feedback into a cohesive market strategy.
• Strong financial and analytical abilities; comfortable creating market models, segmentation frameworks, and go-to-market strategies.
• Exceptional prioritization and time management skills.
• Comfortable presenting to customer audiences and conducting product demonstrations without being a technical subject matter expert.
