Senior Analyst, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of the relationship with a designated supplier within a specific commodity.

• Lead and manage timelines and purchase orders for the client account or product category.

• Ensure timely product delivery, adherence to quality standards, and appropriate cost management.

• Carry out delivery assurance tasks.

• Implement procurement procedures, standards, and operational strategies.

• Address inquiries from the value stream regarding order status, modifications, or cancellations.

• Procure goods, materials, supplies, and services on terms advantageous to the organization.

• Create purchase orders under general supervision.

• Gather price proposals, financial reports, and additional data to aid in making sound pricing decisions.

• Track contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Communicate with suppliers to arrange or expedite deliveries and resolve issues related to shortages, missed deliveries, and delays.

• Cultivate and sustain vendor relationships.

• Engage in meetings, teleconferences, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Business Administration.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in global supply chain management.

• Proficiency in SAP.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Must be a resident of Puerto Rico.

• Required English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) for effective communication with English-only customers, co-workers, or supervisors.

• Capability to assist with other duties/functions as dictated by business needs.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.

• Participate actively in group meetings, teleconferences, and required training sessions.

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives utilizing ACE tools.

• Support AS9100 compliance efforts.

• Achieve ACE Associate certification.
