Senior Analyst, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials.

• Identify and assess qualified suppliers for needs, utilizing existing agreements to their fullest.

• Manage the entire purchase order process from requisition through to invoice payment for designated commodities.

• Acquire price quotations and engage in negotiations regarding pricing and delivery.

• Evaluate supplier quotes and make informed sourcing recommendations and decisions.

• Ensure timely delivery of products according to schedule.

• Initiate negotiations with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and terms and conditions.

• Complete purchase order documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Ensure prompt order placement to meet business requirements and adhere to team-defined turnaround times.

• Collaborate with requisitioners and various functional groups.

• Work autonomously as well as part of a team on additional projects that support the Supply Chain organization.

• Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to promote cost-effective procurement solutions, uphold compliance, and enhance processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP procurement software or comparable ERP systems in a supply chain or procurement context.

• Familiarity with Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX, or PRISM.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to convey information fluently and professionally in both written and spoken English.

• Proficient in SAP (Procurement functions, Business Warehouse, Business Objects).

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of lean principles and process improvement methodologies.

• Understanding of Indirect commodities within a manufacturing or aerospace setting.
