Senior Analyst – Information Security Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Enhance and uphold the standard operating procedures for data protection as well as meaningful global metrics for data protection.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to suggest and execute data protection measures.

• Utilize analytical automation techniques to boost the efficiency of Data Protection processes.

• Offer guidance and assistance to employees regarding data protection issues.

• Elevate concerns to Insider Threat teams as necessary.

• Remain informed about trends and technologies related to data protection.

• Provide consultation on the creation and upkeep of DLP policies across various DLP technologies.

• Interact with employees concerning DLP escalations and investigations.

• Create data analytics solutions aimed at identifying and mitigating data security risks, enhancing data quality, and supporting business decisions.

• Partner with the Director of Data Protection and key stakeholders to ensure the data protection program aligns with the organization’s risk tolerance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in data protection, information security, or a related field.

• Strong comprehension of data protection laws and regulations.

• Familiarity with leading DLP and CASB technologies.

• Experience with data security controls and responses to data security incidents.

• Ability to work concurrently with multiple data protection technologies.

• Background in investigating data loss incidents utilizing data analytics and computer forensics.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
