This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Assist the Cybersecurity Director in daily operations by completing assigned tasks, monitoring action items, and aiding Cybersecurity Awareness, Training, and Communication along with broader Cybersecurity initiatives.
• Monitor assigned tasks, document meeting notes and metrics, and facilitate regular status updates.
• Engage in Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity Awareness and Training initiatives through research, information gathering, coordination of input, and execution support.
• Provide operational and analytical support, which includes coordinating tasks, conducting research, gathering data, analyzing metrics, and tracking progress.
• Create, revise, format, maintain, and publish materials for Cybersecurity Awareness and Training, internal website content, user instructions, documentation, and compliance programs.
• Organize, update, and manage version control of Cybersecurity documentation, web content, and training records.
• Develop training content, presentation materials, and supporting documentation as instructed by the Cybersecurity Director.
• Prior internship experience in Cybersecurity and IT is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related area.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity is strongly preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity awareness, training, and communication or a related field.
• Experience in Project Management and Planning Projects.
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Understanding of Project Management principles, including Agile Methodology.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A robust sense of ownership and accountability with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional organizational skills to plan, manage, and implement awareness campaigns and project-related tasks.
• Capability to independently plan, prioritize, and carry out work based on objectives, milestones, and deadlines.
• An analytical mindset to tackle challenges and the ability to propose practical, effective solutions.
