This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Assist in the development and application of analytical models for the Global Supply Chain and Purchasing Departments.
• Conduct research, organize, compile, analyze, monitor, and report on information and data.
• Contribute to the formulation and execution of strategies, Global Purchasing Value Delivery Tracking, price monitoring, and reporting.
• Examine spending in both Direct and Indirect material categories.
• Aid the Finance costing team with budgeting and standard cost processes.
• Support data gathering, savings initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and the Governance and Clean-up of Master Data.
• Improve tools that enhance efficient work processes and raw material usage for global sourcing operations.
• Create, develop, and maintain purchasing dashboards.
• Work with Finance to confirm and monitor purchasing savings, cost avoidance, and working capital initiatives.
• Collect, cleanse, and analyze purchasing and supplier performance metrics.
• Investigate market subscription data, statistics, and reports to comprehend material cost influencers, industry dynamics, market trends, and best practices.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses for Executive Leadership, Purchasing, Finance, and Commercial teams.
• Standardize data collection and reporting processes across regions.
• Establish best practices for tracking and reporting purchasing savings projects in various regions.
• Lead the Supplier Master Data Team and ensure accurate supplier information is maintained in ERP systems.
• Develop, review, and update purchasing strategies, procedures, and guidelines for supplier master data.
• Train SMD analysts and stakeholders.
• Identify, prioritize, and oversee master data clean-up initiatives.
• Assist with strategic purchasing initiatives, including Working Capital Improvement and Supplier Risk Management.
• Support purchasing strategies and plans informed by data analysis and market trends.
• Lead the material budgeting and strategic planning process in collaboration with FP&A and Costing.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on purchasing performance and value delivery.
• Maintain KPI metrics on “the Loop” for companywide visibility and self-service accessibility.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with costing, plant controllers, supply chain, commercial, and regional purchasing teams.
• Act as a liaison among Purchasing, FP&A, and IT regarding data analytics tools and systems.
• Complete necessary safety training, utilize PPE, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance with a focus on Planning and Analysis, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related area.
• At least 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in purchasing, data analytics, or a related field.
• Proficient in data analytics tools and software, such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel Queries.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to apply analytical models and data science principles, including data handling, reporting, process automation, and implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong presentation skills, including the creation of operational reports, queries, presentations, and visualizations from data.
• Capacity to work effectively within a team and cultivate relationships with stakeholders and customers across different geographical areas.
• High level of accuracy and meticulousness in data analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of fundamental financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
