Senior Analyst, Dental Network Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.

📋 Description

• Examine provider reimbursement agreements, claims data, and network performance indicators to uncover opportunities for enhancing PPO discounts.

• Spearhead provider fee schedule negotiations and initiatives aimed at network optimization to achieve financial objectives.

• Analyze market conditions, competitive factors, and provider-specific elements to formulate effective contracting strategies.

• Evaluate the financial and operational implications of changes in reimbursement and network configurations.

• Collaborate with teams in network management, contracting, analytics, provider relations, and product development.

• Establish and nurture relationships with dental providers and provider organizations.

• Deliver data-driven insights and business proposals to leadership and relevant stakeholders.

• Impact network performance, provider engagement, and the competitiveness of Aetna Dental's national provider network.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in provider network management, sales, provider relations, customer service, healthcare reimbursement, dental practice operations, or a payer setting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven skills in negotiation, influencing, and building relationships.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.

• Proficient in data analysis.

• Experience with claims or reimbursement data.

• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in the dental field.

• Familiarity with PPO, DMO, Medicare, and various dental network products.

• Understanding of provider contracting, fee schedule creation, and healthcare reimbursement practices.

• One to three years of experience in financial analysis, healthcare economics, or related analytical roles.

• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.

• Associate's degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.
