
Senior Analyst, Cyber Incident Response

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee designated workstreams related to cyber incident response, data breaches, and sensitive data issues.
β’ Monitor tasks, deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables according to project plans.
β’ Act as the primary daily contact for case teams, clients, and vendors.
β’ Confirm directives, communicate requests, and follow up on outstanding items.
β’ Maintain project trackers, documentation for matters, workflow notes, and handoff materials.
β’ Generate status updates, metrics, validation summaries, draft reports, and project communications.
β’ Assist Project Managers in overseeing scope, data volumes, hours, and vendor activities.
β’ Identify potential impacts on schedules or budgets early.
β’ Adhere to procedures for data intake, transfer, tracking, preservation, chain of custody documentation, and secure management of sensitive information.
β’ Analyze, manage, and reconcile project data utilizing Excel, Power Query, SQL, Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
β’ Employ search, analytics, regular expressions, and data mining techniques to discover and report on PII, PHI, PCI, and other sensitive or regulated data.
β’ Support workflows on review platforms, including workspace setup, searches, batching or sampling, coding fields, exports, metrics, and quality control.
β’ Validate outputs for accuracy, completeness, and defensibility.
β’ Identify issues related to projects, workflows, data, or evidence handling, and escalate risks or unresolved inquiries.
β’ Contribute reusable scripts, templates, trackers, validation checklists, and enhancements to processes.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is required.
β’ A minimum of two years' experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, legal technology, cyber incident response, data analytics, or a related field, including experience in supporting or coordinating project workstreams.
β’ Experience analyzing both structured and unstructured data, including spreadsheets, file listings, processing reports, review outputs, and exception logs.
β’ Strong proficiency in Excel is essential.
β’ Familiarity with Power Query, SQL, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting and automation tools is preferred.
β’ Working knowledge of eDiscovery workflows, evidence handling, chain of custody documentation, validation, and quality control procedures.
β’ Understanding of sensitive data elements and privacy classifications, including PII, PHI, and PCI.
β’ Experience with Relativity or another review platform, encompassing searches, batching or sampling, coding fields, exports, reporting, and quality control workflows.
β’ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills, with a keen focus on defensibility and data quality.
β’ Ability to manage assigned project tasks and smaller workstreams, track deadlines and deliverables, identify risks, and escalate issues as necessary.
β’ Familiarity with project management practices such as work plans, trackers, status reporting, and budget monitoring.
β’ Willingness to visit the office for training or meetings is required.
