Senior Analyst, Business Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assess client guarantee performance on a monthly basis

• Compile financial performance reports

• Offer reporting and information for audit inquiries

• Collaborate with Underwriting, Networks, Sales/Account Management, Audit, and Legal to evaluate contract terms and suggest pricing strategies

• Conduct monthly data extractions for designated guarantee clients

• Analyze performance outcomes, drug mix, and utilization to pinpoint opportunities for reducing financial risk

• Work alongside underwriting, finance, and accounting teams to enhance process efficiencies and address overlaps

• Execute retrospective analyses comparing underwriting assumptions, contract terminology, and actual outcomes

• Create reporting packages and presentations for management

• Establish best practices and draw insights to guide vital business decisions

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developing financial models and managing extensive data sets in a database setting

• More than 3 years of experience handling multiple projects and achieving results within deadlines

• At least 2 years of experience with SQL/Google Cloud BigQuery

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with the health insurance, managed care, or pharmaceutical sectors is preferred

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in PBM, ideally in drug pricing and analytics

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
