Senior AM/ML Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Architect and implement comprehensive AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for enterprise clients, overseeing the process from initial discovery to production deployment.

• Develop scalable architectures based on LLMs, including RAG systems, vector search and embedding pipelines, prompt engineering frameworks, and agentic AI workflows.

• Lead architectural initiatives and actively facilitate implementation utilizing Snowflake's AI/ML capabilities.

• Create scalable integration architectures to connect enterprise data platforms with AI/ML ecosystems.

• Construct AI/ML reference architectures, accelerators, and proofs of concept for client projects.

• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to convert requirements into production-ready AI systems.

• Provide technical leadership, architectural governance, and mentorship to engineering teams.

• Assist in pre-sales and solution development through client workshops, discovery sessions, solution design and estimation, architecture presentations, and RFP responses.

• Assess emerging AI/ML technologies and determine their relevance within enterprise ecosystems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in AI/ML architecture, solution design, and implementation.

• Extensive hands-on expertise in Generative AI and LLM-based systems.

• Demonstrated experience in constructing production-grade RAG systems, vector databases and embedding pipelines, fine-tuning and model adaptation workflows, as well as agentic AI systems.

• Strong knowledge of supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, and MLOps.

• Real-time, hands-on experience with production projects.

• Capability to design and deliver scalable AI architectures.

• Significant hands-on experience with the Snowflake AI/ML ecosystem, including Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, Snowflake Cortex Code, and Snowflake AI/ML.

• Experience in building and deploying production AI solutions on Snowflake.

• Strong background as a Solution / Enterprise Architect in designing scalable distributed systems.

• Proven expertise in integrating AI/ML systems across Snowflake and leading cloud platforms.

• Deep understanding of API-based architectures, microservices, event-driven systems, and AI/ML data pipelines.

• Ability to design end-to-end production AI architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud platforms.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in presenting complex AI architectures to executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

• Strong facilitation skills for technical workshops, design sessions, and whiteboarding activities.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and ensuring architectural alignment among multiple stakeholders.
