This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Design, develop, and implement production-quality traditional machine learning models, encompassing regression, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems.
• Create, construct, and operationalize Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, including Retrieval Augmented Generation, to enhance user experiences and streamline workflows.
• Design, maintain, and optimize comprehensive AI/ML pipelines that cover data ingestion, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring within cloud infrastructure.
• Integrate cloud-native and third-party AI SaaS solutions effectively.
• Ensure that AI/ML solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-efficient.
• Develop reusable components, frameworks, and best practices for AI development.
• Assess emerging AI technologies, Agentic AI protocols, and third-party low-code platforms.
• Address business challenges using innovative techniques and creative thinking.
• Collaborate with data scientists, architects, product managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to enterprise technical teams.
• Empower other teams to incorporate AI into their products.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is required; equivalent related experience and/or education may be considered upon evaluation.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and deploying ML/AI solutions in real-world settings.
• Alternatively, 8 years of software development/engineering experience, including at least 3 years of AI/ML experience.
• Demonstrable experience with Generative AI tools and technologies, including LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, RAG, and fine-tuning.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, cloud AI, Generative AI, and emerging Agentic AI technologies.
• Proficient in AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalable AI/ML development.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles, bias mitigation, and ethical deployment.
• Knowledge of MLOps best practices, including ML CI/CD, model monitoring, and versioning.
• Proficient in Python and popular ML/AI libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Strong grasp of data engineering, SQL, and feature engineering.
• Direct experience with AWS SageMaker, Lambda, ECS, S3, and IAM.
• Familiarity with Docker and orchestration tools like Airflow and Kubeflow.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Ability to develop robust, scalable, and efficient AI/ML solutions in cloud-native environments.
• Capability to translate ambiguous business problems into actionable technical ML/AI tasks.
• Skill in communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving AI technologies.
• Preferred: Master's or PhD degree, experience with agentic AI frameworks, contributions to open-source projects or published research, cloud AI/ML certifications, and experience in regulated industries.
