Senior AI Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Convert vague business challenges into functional, scalable, and high-performance AI features, applications, and standalone tools.

• Design and execute AI memory architectures and vector storage systems such as Pinecone and Pgvector.

• Ensure that AI memory solutions adhere to data retention, privacy, and deletion policies.

• Create data pipelines and entity-resolution logic that integrate CRM, ERP, CPQ, and marketing platforms like Salesforce, SAP, and BigQuery.

• Work collaboratively with business units to pinpoint high-value AI use cases and prioritize actionable opportunities.

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the development and implementation phases to facilitate successful end-user adoption.

• Collect and relay insights from real-world deployments regarding model performance, limitations, and opportunities for improvement.

• Establish continuous evaluation pipelines for hallucinations, prompt injections, data leaks, and performance regressions.

• Implement safety measures prior to production deployment.

• Enhance response times and reduce operational costs through semantic caching, intelligent model routing, and inference optimization.

• Convert initial concepts into production-quality applications for teams across a global organization.

• Design and create intelligence and integration layers that connect autonomous AI agents with enterprise systems and infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficiency in backend development, distributed systems, asynchronous programming, API design, microservices, and database management.

• 2+ years of experience in production AI/LLM.

• Background in designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered applications using LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows in production.

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL.

• Experience in building data pipelines and integrating CRM, ERP, CPQ, or marketing platforms.

• Understanding of data transformation, entity resolution, schema design, and data quality.

• 3+ years of experience with Python or equivalent backend development.

• 1–2+ years of experience with vector databases and AI memory, including Pinecone, Pgvector, or similar.

• 1–2+ years of experience with AI frameworks and orchestration, including LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent.

• 1+ year of experience in AI evaluation and safety.

• Knowledge of hallucination detection, prompt injection mitigation, data leakage prevention, and model safety measures.

• 1+ year of experience in AI performance optimization.

• Familiarity with semantic caching, intelligent model routing, inference cost optimization, and latency reduction.

• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• 2+ years of experience in stakeholder-facing technical delivery.

• Proven ability to work with business and engineering teams to identify requirements, develop solutions, and support production adoption.
