Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop a conversational analytics agent that encompasses natural-language understanding, text-to-SQL, query execution, answer synthesis, explainability, and source citation.

• Execute LLM agent architectures and orchestration techniques such as ReAct, plan-and-execute, or multi-agent workflows.

• Establish guardrails to prevent hallucinations, ensure traceability, enforce scope, and promote responsible AI practices.

• Integrate the agent with Snowflake, semantic-layer assets, business glossaries, and KPI definitions.

• Implement secure data-access controls, including RBAC and row-level security measures.

• Define and uphold structured AI evaluation frameworks that address SQL correctness, answer fidelity, regression, and drift.

• Ensure observability, tracing, and performance monitoring for agent behavior, latency, token utilization, and error tracking.

• Establish CI/CD processes and automated regression testing for prompts, agent configurations, and semantic artifacts.

• Work collaboratively with Data, Platform, AI Governance, and Clinical Analytics teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English.

• Significant experience in developing LLM-based applications, text-to-SQL, or conversational analytics solutions.

• Strong practical experience with Python and advanced SQL.

• Familiarity with LLM patterns, including prompt engineering, function calling, tool usage, and agent orchestration.

• Experience with Snowflake and knowledge of Snowflake Cortex capabilities.

• Experience with LangGraph or comparable agent frameworks.

• Knowledge of evaluation tools like Ragas or DeepEval, along with observability platforms such as LangSmith, Weights & Biases, Arize, or similar.

• Experience in regulated or governance-focused environments, encompassing RBAC, auditability, and responsible AI practices.

• Strong background in software engineering, testing, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries is highly regarded.
