Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy applications ready for production utilizing LLMs, such as GPT, Gemini, Claude, and other foundational models via AWS Bedrock.

• Construct and enhance RAG architectures for processing and retrieving data from extensive document repositories.

• Implement and manage multi-agent AI systems utilizing AWS Bedrock Agents and the AgentCore frameworks.

• Create scalable AI pipelines that integrate with enterprise systems while ensuring production-level performance.

• Develop backend services and APIs for AI applications employing Python and contemporary frameworks.

• Execute containerization and deployment strategies for AI applications.

• Establish monitoring and observability solutions to track the performance, quality, and costs of AI systems.

• Design and refine prompts and templates to guide the behavior and responses of LLMs.

• Utilize advanced prompt engineering techniques to enhance model performance and accuracy.

• Assess and fine-tune models for specific applications.

• Experiment with model configurations, hyperparameters, and architectures.

• Collaborate with various verticals and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Remain updated with generative AI research and evaluate new foundational models.

• Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing efforts.

• Engage in Sales initiatives associated with Generative AI.

• Work together with product managers, data scientists, solution architects, and engineers to deliver AI systems ready for production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in software engineering.

• Backend development experience is essential; full-stack expertise is a plus.

• Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and foundational model APIs.

• Familiarity with Agentic Architecture & Implementation, including LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen.

• Knowledge of prompt engineering and optimization techniques.

• Experience in data consumption for agentic systems using vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or OpenSearch, along with embedding models or Knowledge Graphs.

• Understanding of DevOps practices and public cloud environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for AI applications is preferred.

• Proficient in Python with experience in modern frameworks and libraries.
