Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy applications ready for production using Large Language Models such as GPT, Gemini, Claude, and other foundational models via AWS Bedrock.

• Construct and enhance RAG architectures for the processing and retrieval of information from extensive document repositories.

• Implement and coordinate multi-agent AI systems utilizing AWS Bedrock Agents and the AgentCore frameworks.

• Create scalable AI pipelines that integrate with enterprise systems while ensuring performance at production scale.

• Develop backend services and APIs for AI applications using Python and contemporary frameworks.

• Execute containerization and deployment strategies for AI applications.

• Establish monitoring and observability solutions to track the performance, quality, and costs of AI systems.

• Design and refine prompts and templates that guide the behavior and responses of LLMs.

• Apply advanced techniques in prompt engineering.

• Assess and fine-tune models for particular use cases.

• Experiment with model configurations, hyperparameters, and architectures.

• Collaborate with vertical areas and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Remain updated on generative AI research and evaluate new foundational models.

• Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing initiatives.

• Engage in sales initiatives associated with Generative AI.

• Work alongside product managers, data scientists, solution architects, and other engineers to deliver AI systems ready for production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in software engineering.

• Experience in full-stack development.

• Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and foundational model APIs.

• Familiarity with agentic architecture and its implementation, including LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, and AutoGen.

• Expertise in prompt engineering and optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of data consumption for agentic systems utilizing vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, and OpenSearch.

• Experience with embedding models or Knowledge Graphs.

• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for AI applications.

• Proficiency in Python with experience in modern frameworks and libraries.
