Senior AI Enablement Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Enablement & coaching — collaborate directly with engineers through one-on-one sessions, pair programming, workshops, office hours, and cohorts to enhance their effectiveness in AI-assisted development: including prompting, workflow design, and model/tool selection. Identify areas of under-adoption and elevate teams to meet the standard.

• Best-practice propagation — document effective strategies (and those that do not work) within a team and systematically disseminate them: creating living best-practice guides, prompt libraries, troubleshooting playbooks, and an internal AI knowledge base and skills registry.

• Scale through champions — establish and support a network of embedded AI champions to ensure that enablement extends beyond a single individual.

• Unblocking & feedback loop — serve as the primary resource for engineers encountering challenges with AI tooling. Proactively engage with teams to identify blockers early, aggregate them into patterns, and escalate systemic issues to leadership.

• Internal integrations & tooling — develop internal AI integrations and reusable tooling hands-on (Node.js/TypeScript, MCP) — from prototype to production independently, including authentication, access control, security review, and CI/CD.

• Evaluation & scouting — conduct structured assessments of AI tools, models, and internal integrations; keep abreast of the rapidly evolving landscape (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot/Codex, new model releases) and provide curated, actionable recommendations.

• Measurement & impact — define and monitor adoption and productivity metrics by team, tool, and individual. Create dashboards reflecting real usage and output — adoption/active-usage rate, assistant acceptance rate, PR throughput, and cycle time — incorporating a quality guardrail (change failure rate) to ensure speed does not compromise quality. Reference frameworks: DX Core 4, DORA.

• Cross-functional partnering — collaborate with security/compliance to establish safe-by-design guardrails, and with GTM to translate field needs into internal enablement while also feeding back adoption patterns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior, hands-on engineer with a robust full-stack background — over 7 years of experience in a product-driven environment.

• Proficient in Node.js/TypeScript for developing services and integrations, with practical knowledge of relational and document databases.

• Extensive, hands-on expertise with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) — understanding their internal workings beyond just usage — along with the complete AI-assisted development workflow.

• Proven experience in independently taking internal integrations from prototype to production — encompassing design, authentication/authorization, deployment, security review, and CI/CD.

• Experience in building integrations with third-party APIs and agent-tooling protocols (e.g., MCP).

• Familiarity with GenAI building blocks: LLMs, prompting, RAG, orchestration, agentic flows, and AI/tooling security.

• Strong teaching, facilitation, and technical writing skills — capable of simplifying complex subjects for engineers at various levels and creating guides, workshops, and walkthroughs.

• Cross-functional operational capabilities — comfortable influencing without direct authority and coordinating with IT, DevOps, security, and GTM.

• Ability to structure ambiguous, open-ended problems independently and drive them to completion, synthesizing various inputs (1:1s, feedback, surveys) into prioritized actions.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level, enabling effective written and verbal technical communication with both internal and external audiences.
