Senior AI Data Scientist – Modeler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement agentic AI architectures that produce and prioritize actionable insights for sales leaders, tailored to management focus, coaching requirements, and performance metrics.

• Formulate coaching route recommendations by treating them as routing optimization challenges that balance geographic proximity with route priority and criticality, while minimizing unnecessary travel.

• Incorporate business indicators such as potential, execution, compliance, and pre-seller KPIs into operational and geographically relevant coaching recommendations.

• Facilitate agentic decision-making concerning coaching effectiveness by assessing and refining recommendations based on time, distance, and criticality constraints.

• Package the model within the MFL framework, including PyFunc, model_card, and testing, and ensure its integration with orchestration and operational deployment.

• Design, create, and improve advanced models for Pricing and Revenue Growth Management.

• Construct predictive models, explore price-demand relationships, calculate price elasticities, and refine pricing strategies.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, and Machine Learning Engineers to develop scalable and statistically sound solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist/Modeler in supervised machine learning and systems for recommendation or prioritization.

• Practical experience in developing agentic AI (designing AI agents capable of making decisions).

• Background in optimization and operations research, including routing, VRP, and constrained optimization.

• Proficiency in advanced Python (scikit-learn; optimization libraries such as OR-Tools, Pyomo, PuLP, or comparable tools).

• Familiarity with MLflow and model development utilizing Databricks.

• Experience handling geospatial and routing data (distances, geolocation).
