Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute Finance & Accounting tasks within the designated focus area while requiring minimal management oversight and demonstrating a high level of autonomy.

• Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

• Ensure that all transactions adhere to GAAP, JSOX, internal policies, procedures, FDA requirements, ISO 13485, as well as relevant laws and standards.

• Create monthly journal entries and compile supporting documentation in accordance with the closing timetable.

• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and analyses.

• Evaluate financial statements and propose enhancements to business performance or operational efficiency.

• Prepare necessary documentation and assist with internal and external audit requirements.

• Collaborate across various departments to manage and enhance financial, business, and internal control processes.

• Undertake ad-hoc assignments and special projects for the Director of Finance & Accounting or the VP of Finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

• Over 6 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.

• Capability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Excel.

• SAP experience is preferred.

• Willingness to work late hours if necessary.

• Ability to remain seated for 75–100% of the applicable work period.

• Capacity to use hands and fingers for feeling and manipulating items, including keyboards, for up to 100% of the applicable work period.

• Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of the applicable work time.

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to ten pounds for up to 20% of the applicable work time.

• Close vision: must be able to see clearly at a distance of twenty inches or less.

• Occasional travel of up to 25% may be necessary.

• Must adhere to relevant U.S. Food and Drug Administration medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
