Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in executing and supporting the month-end and year-end closing procedures, which include journal entries and reconciliations.

• Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations to ensure they are accurate and timely.

• Manage and maintain financial systems, including Intacct, credit card platforms, and reimbursement applications.

• Prepare and review entries in the general ledger, account reconciliations, and accompanying schedules.

• Ensure all financial activities are recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards.

• Aid in the preparation of financial reports, workpapers, and documentation for audits.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and assist in implementing best practices.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and proper segregation of duties.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and U.S. stakeholders to support financial operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or auditing.

• CPA, CIA, and/or CISA certification (U.S. preferred; credentials from the Philippines are also acceptable).

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.

• Experience with accounting software such as Intacct, QuickBooks, or comparable systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 365.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Ability to work in alignment with U.S. hours (EST/PST).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capable of prioritizing, organizing, managing time, and working independently to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical, organizational, detail-oriented, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across various functional areas.

• High level of professionalism and tact when interacting with both internal and external partners.
