Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide essential support across various finance functions

• Implement and uphold systems, software, processes, and procedures

• Maintain oversight of all accounting transactions

• Develop financial and operational metrics and suggest enhancements

• Utilize AI tools to streamline and automate workflows

• Assist with requests for interim and annual audits

• Prepare precise and timely monthly reporting packages, which include financial statements

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting and tax obligations

• Support the initiatives for the annual budget and monthly forecasting

• Oversee accounts receivable, encompassing invoicing and collection of payments

• Ensure that monthly balance sheet account reconciliations are completed within deadlines

• Process cash receipts and update client accounts as necessary

• Update and maintain cash flow spreadsheets for assigned legal entities

• Prepare ad hoc reports and assist with special projects

• Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments

• Ensure satisfaction for both internal and external customers

⛳️ Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification; those in progress are welcome

• High proficiency in Excel

• Ability to thrive in a remote team environment

• Over 4 years of progressively responsible experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Familiarity with AI tools, such as Claude and Copilot

• Knowledge of SAGE Intacct accounting software is advantageous

• Experience with international groups and IFRS is a plus
