This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take ownership and lead comprehensive collections activities across global entities, aiming for less than 10% past-due accounts receivable (AR).
• Serve as the escalation point for high-value or sensitive customer accounts, resolving disputes or delays effectively.
• Delegate collections assignments in NetSuite to junior AR specialists and monitor their follow-up progress.
• Collaborate with Legal or Contracts teams on escalated or at-risk receivables.
• Work alongside regional sales teams to ensure timely collections.
• Drive the 13-week rolling cash inflow forecast in collaboration with the Treasury department.
• Analyze discrepancies between forecasted and actual results, identify variations, and suggest corrective measures.
• Provide insights on entity-level AR and collections during weekly Finance leadership meetings.
• Manage the workflow of the AR shared inbox, including triage rules and response timelines.
• Assist in daily and month-end cash application reviews.
• Examine unapplied cash reports and coordinate their resolution.
• Oversee the Dunning module and automated customer reminders.
• Review AR Aging across business entities for credit memo application and ensure balance integrity.
• Lead the creation and coordination of credit memo approvals.
• Identify opportunities for enhancements in AR processes, reporting accuracy, and system workflows.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Over 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with a focus on global collections.
• Practical experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, as well as Dunning tools and forecasting processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage escalations independently and effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong Excel skills and reporting capabilities, including proficiency in pivot tables, trend analysis, and variance explanations.
