Senior Account Manager – Personal Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Market and sell Cargill Beauty/Personal Care technical and non-technical products, including Citric Acid and Glycerin, alongside services and solutions to both existing and prospective clients.

• Provide strategic guidance to the sales team by leveraging insights into business operations, financials, products, services, market dynamics, and the specific needs of assigned accounts.

• Update customers on the latest products, services, and pricing options available.

• Develop, track, and maintain lead generation initiatives.

• Evaluate customer requirements and recommend suitable products, services, and solutions accordingly.

• Assist in the creation of sales bids, proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.

• Aid in formulating medium- to long-term sales strategies aimed at safeguarding, expanding, and diversifying relationships with targeted customers.

• Manage complex issues independently with minimal supervision and escalate the most challenging situations as necessary.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• At least four years of relevant sales experience in the chemical or personal care product sectors or related fields.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including both air travel and driving to client or business locations.

• A valid driver’s license in good standing is required.

• Applicants should reside in close proximity to a major airport.

• Over five years of experience in solution selling within the personal care industry is preferred.

• Experience in key account management and distribution is also preferred.
