This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• This position is responsible for developing and implementing account strategies aimed at enhancing client retention and driving growth within US Payments accounts and/or territories.
• Serving as the primary strategic contact for selling Finastra solutions, this role necessitates the coordination of internal stakeholders, including senior management, to achieve account performance goals and meet client expectations.
• Create a collaborative strategy and plan for designated accounts to promote ongoing investment and expansion of existing Finastra products while identifying new growth opportunities across Finastra's offerings.
• Foster strong and positive relationships with clients at various levels, including executives across business and IT sectors, ensuring regular communication.
• Lead and collaborate with the extended Finastra team for account planning, exploring new project opportunities, and ensuring that business objectives and customer expectations are fulfilled.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s operating environment, business objectives, strategic initiatives, and key stakeholders and influencers within the relevant business sectors.
• Discover new sales opportunities and cultivate a pipeline for Finastra products and services, engaging and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Solution Consultants and/or Sales Executives to advance the sales process toward closure.
• Act as a point of escalation for resolving client issues.
• Ensure that client challenges are addressed promptly and professionally, in line with the agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Schedule regular business update meetings with relevant client personnel to provide visibility into Finastra products and solutions, aligning with client initiatives.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasting data in the sales reporting system for effective opportunity management and reporting.
• Achieve sales quotas and meet forecast commitments through successful business closures.
• Keep well-documented knowledge regarding clients’ businesses through Account Plans and within the sales tracking system.
• Deliver monthly updates on sales status.
• Stay informed about current industry trends, competitors, and existing/new company products and services.
• Proven experience in consultative sales and account management roles.
• Prior experience with CRM technology for managing pipelines, business intelligence, and integrated account management.
• Experience in managing multiple accounts effectively.
• Capability to establish credible and influential relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and industry, including market trends and competitive intelligence.
• Ability to conceptualize and create value propositions that deliver compelling messages to clients.
• Proficient in building and managing a sales pipeline while achieving or exceeding quotas.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to effectively engage and present to senior-level executives.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders towards sales and account engagement goals.
• Client-focused, self-motivated, and driven individual.
• Ability to navigate within Financial Institutions, comprehend current and future business requirements, and translate them into customer needs and sales opportunities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
