This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Become a specialist in payments, the Astra platform, payment rails, and routing options.
• Manage the entire sales process for Astra’s most critical opportunities, from initial contact to procurement, technical assessment, legal negotiations, and final signatures.
• Conduct executive-level presentations and in-depth technical discussions.
• Cultivate relationships with economic, technical, and compliance stakeholders.
• Create innovative outbound strategies to generate and maintain opportunities.
• Engage in consultative and competitive selling throughout the sales process.
• Construct and support the business case against competitors and the choice to remain inactive.
• Maintain discipline in forecasting and uphold committed timelines and assumptions.
• Investigate customers’ operations and identify motivations to effectively position solutions.
• Relay customer insights internally to impact product development and market strategy.
• Share best practices, assist in onboarding new account executives, and enhance the sales playbook.
• Utilize AI tools to refine research, automate processes, and boost productivity.
• Work alongside Integrations, Engineering, and Compliance teams for successful sales and onboarding execution.
• Over 8 years of comprehensive B2B sales experience, including a minimum of three years focused on selling payments or financial technology to enterprise or upper mid-market clients.
• Proven history of closing substantial, multi-stakeholder deals, including managing procurement processes, RFPs, and legal negotiations.
• Strong executive presence and capability to present to C-suite audiences.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in prospecting and consultative sales with excellent discovery and closing abilities.
• Proficiency in technical product sales within the FinTech or Payments landscape.
• Capability to convert payment rails, settlement timelines, and program mechanics into customer benefits.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, along with self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
• Structured outbound prospecting and pipeline management skills.
• Ability to excel in uncertain situations while remaining open to coaching.
• Highly collaborative and team-oriented.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
• Must not require visa sponsorship to continue employment in the United States.
